I'm not sure if I can even find the words to express my gratitude and love for our speech therapist, Ms. Carla. She has been seeing my 4 year old son since he was released from the hospital NICU. He was born prematurely with a lot of issues. Eating being one. After getting over that then it was the speech. Ms. Carla would even help out during PT because my son loved her. She's very good at what she does and I am so grateful for her.

We were introduced to Carla when our son Ryder was 4 years old. He had received extensive therapy utilizing "Touch Chat" to assist him with his communication and language delays and severe apraxia diagnosis. When we first met Carla, Ryder could only verbally speak a few words. Today, after 4 years with Carla, Ryder reads, sings songs, recites verses and communicates effectively with family and friends. Carla has the magnificent gift of getting the absolute best out of her kids while still making it fun. She becomes a friend, a cheerleader, a life coach, a mentor and she gave Ryder the confidence he needed to find his voice.

Carla was fantastic with both of our kids!! Our daughter had Apraxia as well as undiagnosed VPI. Carla recognized the VPI right away. She was able to get us to the clinic where we got diagnosed and had the surgery to fix it! My son spoke a few words and was very unintelligible when we started at 3 years old. With her help, we were able to get him set up with a device and Proloquo. He is now able to understand and has a great vocabulary for his age! Carla has done so much for our kids and we would definitely recommend her!
