 Feeding Difficulties

Speech and occupational therapy can address your child’s feeding difficulties in regards to oral motor skills, biting and chewing skills, texture aversions, independence in self feeding, adding new non-preferred foods to your child’s daily diet, and just enjoying mealtime as part of their daily routine. Using oral motor tools, exercises, and sensory techniques; OT and speech can help make improvements with your child’s feeding skills. Using the Get permission approach, your child will decrease anxiety about food and eating and make gains in nutrition and diet.
